I WILL get up early enough to enjoy my breakfast before work without being rushed. This is me time.
I WILL enjoy my evening workouts and admit that not everyone is a morning runner. I WILL do what works for me.
I WILL go to bed no later than 10:30pm to ensure that I get enough sleep and am at my best the next day. Twitter and Blogs, I’m looking at you!
I WILL bring my lunch 4 out of 5 workdays. One the 1 day purchasing, I will ENJOY the splurge.
I WILL do my best every day.
I WILL be proud of my “bests” and will refrain from comparing them to others.
I WILL enjoy my long runs with my husband and appreciate that we get this quality time together.
I WILL make coffee at home to bring to work. It is a simple way to save money, and it tastes so much better.
I WILL appreciate the strong body I have.
I WILL make conscious, mindful decisions in regards to my eating. I WILL splurge occasionally on really delicious treats. I WILL avoid eating mediocre food just because it is available.
I WILL learn something new everyday and benefit from others’ knowledge.
I WILL make spending time with family and friends a priority. I WILL not use tiredness as an excuse (see #3).
I WILL push my boundaries — physically and mentally.
I WILL aim high, but cut myself some slack when need be. I will recognize that perfection is not attainable.
I WILL be grateful for all the blessings in my life.
I WILL live a healthy, happy life full of fun.
Do any of these ring true with you? What WILL you do?

Great post. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of what we have and what we’re going to do.
Thanks Amanda. Your blog is so inspiring for new moms and moms to be! I’ll add it to my reading list

Great post. It’s very easy to get in the habit of making empty promises with ourselves without ever planning to act on them!
This week I will slow down and really take in my surroundings.
So many of these ring true for me! I think my biggest one right now is that I WILL run outside. I’ve become a treadmill junkie to avoid heat and humidity. But that is my new goal, to get back to outside running. Time to see the sights!
I was just reading your post earlier about the heat and humidity! 5am runs are not my cup of tea, but in that heat there isn’t much choice! Good luck!!
Such a good post… this gets me thinking about all the stuff I need to say “I will” to rather than “I wish”… And like you, I should write them down.
I Will make a list of things I will start doing!
